Anthonin
Heel & Sole Specialist
Anthonin handles the production stage — the physical repair itself. Heel reconstruction and the fitting of new soles and half-soles are his daily work, the structural heart of every restoration.
Trained across traditional shoemaking and modern repair, he combines hand skill with machine work. A heel must carry weight, absorb impact and hold its line for years; getting it right is equal parts engineering and instinct.

Interview
In the words of Anthonin
Four moments from the interview — the gesture, the path, learning, and the digital companion. Pick one to watch.

How do you restore a heel to new?
To rebuild the heel, you have to take apart every piece of it. You separate all the parts, fit a new leather covering on the heel, and then secure the heel back onto the shoe.
The Gesture
Where mastery becomes movement
At the heart of the project lies the gesture itself — captured in motion through dynamic Gaussian Splatting. What looks effortless is the result of years of repetition, judgement and feel.
